We have just heard that Fishers Restaurant in St.Clements, Oxford have very kindly offered to sponsor Oxford Twestival! I got home yesterday to find one of those tell tale cards from Royal Mail telling me that I was due an early morning trip to the Witney sorting office today.

On this occasion I didn’t mind because I knew what would be waiting for me…and I wasn’t disappointed

A jiffy bag stuffed with CDs for our raffle courtesy of my friends at the music PR company Manilla.

With the music that I’m donating that makes to sets of 10 CDs to raffle off. It’s some pretty good stuff to with a mixture of rock, pop, reggae, dance and folk in each stack.

After playing at the first Oxford Twestival, and excusing himself with a video message of support for Twestival from Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall for the second, Oxford’s Twitter troubadour Ben Walker is to join us once more for Oxford Twestival 2010. On the 25th March, Ben, famous for his solo work such as The Twitter Song, is very generously taking time out from playing Hammond organ with Little Fish, and will join us just after supporting rock supergroup Them Crooked Vultures at the Royal Albert Hall! Hi there, Graeme here, very happy to help out with this year’s Oxford Twestival.

I’m 38 and live here in Oxford with my wife Sarah. I’m a software developer by trade, and have a keen interest in blogging and social media, which are in part what led me to attend last year’s Twestival, and to volunteer for this year’s events.

I’m also eager to support the efforts of Concern Worldwide, and their programme to support education in 28 of the poorest countries in the world. You can help too by donating, or attending Oxford Twestival on the 25th March 2010. Hope I see you there!

Hi there. Sylwia got be involved in this years event and I’m very happy to be doing so.

I’m 46, married with a daughter (Daisy) and live in Witney (the seat of Plastic Dave). I run an arts marketing agency called High, Wide & Handsome (you can guess which 1 adjective fits me) and a music site that promotes unsigned and small label artists called TunA the Day, which is fantastically good fun.

Just a quick note on why I am getting involved in Oxford Twestival, again;)

The splendid people at Wychwood Festival have very kindly donated a pair of tickets for the last day of the event on Sun 6th June. If you’ve never been it takes place on Cheltenham Racecourse and is one of the most relaxed festivals I’ve been to. Headlining on the Sunday is folk pin up Seth Lakeman and also playing are groovesome dance outfit Dreadzone and The South (formally The Beautiful South).

There’s lots for children to do and is the perfect one to break your duck with if you are a festival virgin.

The tickets will be part of the charity auction that we’re running during the evening gig.
